いくつかのレストランでは、アルコールや豚に囲まれてムスリムが食事をすることがあります。イスラムではアルコールと豚は禁止されています。一般的に、ムスリム旅行者がハラル食を注文しても、他の非ムスリムの来店客がムスリムの前で豚を食べたりアルコールを飲んだりすることがありえます。この状況を嫌うムスリムもいるのです。
日本人とムスリムの関係性
最後に日本人とムスリムの関係性があります。日本人の中にはムスリムを見慣れない人もいます。例えば、ムスリムの女性が被っているヒジャーブに馴染みがありません。ムスリム旅行者は時々、そのような状況を悪く感じたりします。5 dissatisfaction points for Muslim who travel to Japan

religion, Muslims have to pray 5 times a day. They need a place for praying. In
Japan, because of the small number of Muslims, it can be difficult to find
mosques and prayer rooms.
Washing room. Muslims need a place to
perform ablution before praying.
In some restaurants Muslims are surrounded by alcohol and pork. In Islam, alcohol and pork are forbidden. Generally speaking, even
if the meal that Muslim travelers order is Halal, others non-Muslim clients of
the restaurant eat pork or drink alcohol in front of them. Some Muslims can
mind this situation.
The relation between some Japanese and Muslims. Indeed, some Japanese people are not used to see Muslims. For
example, they are not familiar with Muslim women wearing “hijab”. Sometimes
Muslim travelers can feel bad because of this situation.
